The power of forgiving and giving

2 Mins read

Scripture: Luke.6:37-38

37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Forgiveness does not help the one you are forgiving but the one forgiving. Many diseases come into your life because of the condition of your heart; forgiveness is not a choice but it is a must. You do not choose to forgive or not but you must forgive. It is a mandate and principle that works for the betterment of your heart. When you forgive you must forget this is a requirement for every heart. A soft heart makes the body easy to heal and a hard heart makes it hard to heal.

Forgiving is just deciding not to be controlled by situations. You need to forgive 70 multiplied by 70 times in a single day. When you forgive you should rub it off and never bring it up again. There are people who are in the prison of your heart whom you have not forgiven. They are succeeding whilst you are dying. It is not a choice. It is a mandate you must let go. You even fail to forgive yourself for past mistakes. If you hold yourself against yourself you will not move an inch. You need to forgive yourself for a better tomorrow.

Holding something against God is one of our weaknesses as human beings. We blame God instead of sending our anger towards the devil. We have a problem in which we accuse people when in actual fact we should be angry to the devil who is causing them to act negatively against you. You cannot fight a person or carry a grudge against a person because it is the heaviest thing you can carry. You need to go behind closed doors and shout at the devil. The devil uses people and he is our enemy. Learn to carry your views without anger or hate language. All those people are holding grudges against are progressing whilst you are suffering from sickness. You might blame yourself from time gone past but regret for wasted time is more waste of time. The biggest art of leadership is forgiveness.

If you learn to forgive and give, success will follow you. Most people are not givers. They only think of receiving than giving. You should give more than you receive. Sacrifice in giving change you. If you fail to give you remain on the same level. The amount you give determines the amount you receive. Giving is not limited to Christians only even none believers benefit from the same principle. If you do not have then you are supposed to give more to change your level.

Everyone has a limit on the money they receive monthly and if ever they reach that level nothing more comes their way. If you exceed the level then problems develop to bring you back to your level. To break this limit you need to give sacrificially; thus giving to a level higher than your usual limit. To be rich means more blessings and less problems. If you have a billion and have a billion dollar problem then you are poor. You should monitor forgiving and giving. No day should go by without you giving. Sacrificial giving is the key to changing your level. You give sacrificially according to your level as you slowly rise to greater heights. There are two principles; forgiving and giving.

We give all glory to God. Mbiri kunaJesu.
